PREFACE

Two, three years ago, I saw some booklets and tapes about ecumenical movement in a Chinese Christian bookstore. I was amazed because the teaching of the errors of the ecumenism has been so rare in the Chinese Christian circle. However to know about a teaching is the easy part, and to put it into practice is always a good proof of the understanding.

The Bible teaches us that at the end, there will be a great unification upon the earth for the false safety and false peace. The result of this unification is a one world government, one world economy and one world religion. This one world system will worship a false messiah, which is the Antichrist. Revelation 13 says, "Power was given him [Antichrist] over all kindreds and tongues and nations (v.7)...All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (V.8) He [The false Prophet] causeth...all to receive a mark(v.16)", also in chapter 17:1,15 says, "Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgement of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters....And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are people and multitudes and nations and tongues."

The close association between the whore and the beast, and the Antichrist and the false prophet in the Book of Revelation, showing us that there will be a unification of the state and church. In the recent past. we can see many obstacles that used to separate men from men, nations from nations, and systems from systems have been tumbling down. God once scattered people from the Tower of Babel, now people gather together again with the same motives that they built the tower.

Today there is much talk of New World Order, and to form such order is exactly the purpose of the ecumenical movement. Roman Catholicism has been striving to make the unifying of all churches, denominations, religions (i.e. Christians, denominations, cults, occults ), and nations a reality. Roman Catholicism is this whore mentioned in the Book of Revelation. To have anything of co-operation with this unclean thing, is sinning against God. I (so should you) have a deep hatred towards this false religion (not the people), because through its false gospel, millions upon millions are enticed into the eternal hell.

Today Promise Keepers (PK) movement is the most rapid growing Christian movement in history, it emphasizes on the leadership training of the male Christians. Unfortunately, when winning the recognition of the Roman Catholics, Promise Keepers starts to yoke up with this whore. Even the intention of PK is commendable, even there are some good teachings in the PK conferences, however I (so should you) refuse to participate in any activities, where the organizers are holding hands with a whore, and every intention of this whore is to damage the work of Jesus Christ. Bible does not teach believers should remain in any filthiness because some good might come out of it.

David said "I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way...I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me"(Psalms 101:1-3). However the modern Christian churches say that the Roman Catholicism is not really that wicked, and the ecumenical movement is not turning aside, so they do not mind to cleave to them. The indiscriminate support of the Promise Keepers movement is an unwise act, is an evidence that there is a neglect of the warning of the ecumenical movement, or there is a reluctance to separate into the holiness of God.
